We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated OBGYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a specialized focus in menopause and midlife health to join our growing Health team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering females through all stages of life, with a particular emphasis on providing comprehensive care during the menopausal transition and beyond.
This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of conditions related to hormonal changes, aging, and gynecologic health, while promoting wellness and quality of life for females in midlife.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for females experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage hormonal and age-related health concerns.
- Educate and counsel patients on hormone therapy, sexual health, lifestyle changes, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, coordinated care. Monitor chronic conditions common in midlife females(e.g., osteoporosis, cardiovascular risk).
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and stay current with evidence-based menopause care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license, with national certification as a Health NP (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in female's health, OBGYN, or related specialty. Specific experience with menopause management preferred.
- Certifications: Certification or coursework in menopause management (e.g., North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner) is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
- Deep understanding of hormonal health, aging, and the psychosocial aspects of menopause.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and maintain sensitive conversations with patients.
