About the Company
A top ENR-ranked general contractor specializing in commercial, government, nuclear, and aviation projects is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to uphold the highest construction standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce the Quality Control (QC) Plan
- Conduct inspections, material testing, and verify compliance
- Identify and resolve quality deficiencies
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with QC standards
- Maintain QC documentation and reports
- Support commissioning and project closeout
- Train teams on quality standards and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years in quality control or construction management
- Strong knowledge of QC standards, codes, and inspections
- Certifications (CQM-C, ICC, AWS) preferred
- Experience with QC documentation and tracking software
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
