Litigation Paralegal in San Antonio

Job Description

A well established firm is looking to add a stellar Litigation Paralegal to their growing team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate should have a solid litigation background in commercial and business liitigation and personal injury.  The litigaiton paralegal should be able to handle assignments from various attorneys, be a self-starter who can work on their own, and be detail oriented. The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters.

The Litigation Paralegal Responsbilities:

• Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses.
• Draft basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.
• Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
• Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

 Skills and Experience of the Litigation Paralegal:

• Minimum 5+ years civil litigation experience in.
• Organizing large caseloads, discovery and trial preparation.
• Prior experience in commercial and business litigation, and personal injury is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Use of Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software.
• Familiarity with trial presentation software.
