Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Commercial Project Manager with a proven track record of managing diverse commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with at least 5 years of experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Lead pre-construction efforts, including budgeting, cost estimation, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Manage and resolve any project-related issues, delays, or changes in scope.
- Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to monitor progress and maintain alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, cost analyses, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing diverse commercial construction projects, including office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
