Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the facility, including supervising department heads and staff, ensuring high standards of care and service.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including overseeing licensing, surveys, and audits.
  • Oversee budgets, billing, and financial performance, including managing revenue, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff members, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and teamwork.
  • Promote a resident-centered approach to care, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and well-being for residents.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and the broader community, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active Iowa LNHA license 
  • Preferred experience as an Administrator 
  • Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred 
  • Experience with fundraising is a plus
