Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Georgia. In this role, you will manage and service a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial insurance accounts. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business for commercial lines accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention

  • Provide daily servicing of accounts including policy changes, certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and billing inquiries

  • Prepare renewal submissions, proposals, and applications for new and existing clients

  • Work closely with producers and underwriters to negotiate terms and pricing

  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system (e.g., EPIC, AMS360)

  • Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and agency procedures

  • Stay up to date with insurance market trends and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management or a similar role

  • Active Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)

  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., GL, WC, BOP, Property, Auto, E&O, D&O)

  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Applied EPIC, AMS360)

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

  • Customer-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIC, CISR, or similar insurance designation preferred but not necessary 

  • Experience working with mid-market or large accounts

  • Familiarity with Georgia-specific insurance regulations and carriers

Compensation is based on experience, licensing, book size, and agency location. Bonus opportunities and benefits may be offered.
