Job Title: Accounting Manager – Manufacturing

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations at our manufacturing facility. This role will manage a small accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and bank reconciliation. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial processes in a manufacturing environment. While CPA certification is not required, a strong background in accounting and financial management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and provide guidance to two accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

· Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.

· Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure financial records align with company policies.

· Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions.

· Prepare financial reports and present key insights to management.

· Collaborate with other departments to support cost control initiatives and process improvements.

· Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal financial policies.

· Assist in internal audits and provide recommendations for financial improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

· 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience managing or overseeing a small accounting team.

· Financial forecasting and budgeting experience preferred.

· Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger management.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.

· Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

· Familiarity with cost accounting principles.
