Are you the Maintenance Technician who gets called when equipment stops and everyone else is looking for answers?

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing operation in Southern Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to work with modern manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and play a critical role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.

And if you have robotics or maintenance leadership experience? Even better.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, sensors, VFDs, controls, and automated equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production needs.
  • Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend permanent solutions.
  • Perform equipment inspections and document completed maintenance activities.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous-improvement projects.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance leadership.

🤖 ROBOTICS EXPERIENCE — OPTIONAL, BUT A MAJOR PLUS

Have experience troubleshooting industrial robots or robotic production equipment?

That can put you at the front of the line.

Robotics experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience troubleshooting robotic cells, automated equipment, sensors, controls, conveyors, or related automation systems are encouraged to apply.

⭐ LEAD EXPERIENCE — OPTIONAL

Are you already the person everyone turns to when something goes down?

Previous Lead Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Lead, or informal leadership experience is a plus.

You may have an opportunity to take on additional responsibility, mentor other technicians, help prioritize work, and serve as a technical resource for the maintenance team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with motors, conveyors, sensors, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Preferred — Not Required:

  • Robotics/automation experience
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Previous Maintenance Lead or Lead Technician experience
  • Food & Beverage manufacturing experience
  • Technical degree, certification, or industrial maintenance training

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?

  • Southern Wisconsin location
  • Multiple shift opportunities
  • Competitive compensation
  • Modern manufacturing environment
  • Opportunity to work with automation and advanced equipment
  • Growth potential for technicians interested in leadership
  • Opportunity to expand your electrical, mechanical, automation, and robotics skill set

🚨 THIS IS MORE THAN A PARTS-CHANGER ROLE.

We're looking for technicians who can think, troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix.

When production is down, you're not waiting for someone else to figure it out. You're the person they call.

If you're a strong Maintenance Technician — or a Lead Technician ready for your next opportunity — let's talk.
