Junior Estimator – Grading & Excavation
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our team and assist with estimating for grading and excavation projects. This position is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career in construction estimating.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals
Review project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements
Support senior estimators and project managers with data entry, cost analysis, and subcontractor outreach
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
0–4 years of experience in the construction industry (field engineer or project engineer experience preferred)
Basic understanding of grading, excavation, and site development practices
Knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid or HeavyJob is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
