Bankruptcy Attorney – Phoenix, AZ

A respected Phoenix law firm is actively seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with Chapter 11 experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of bankruptcy experience, with a focus on debtor representation and restructuring matters. Some familiarity with creditor representation is preferred. Additionally, experience in commercial litigation or commercial finance is advantageous. The Bankruptcy Attorney will be expected to manage multiple cases independently and with a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, handling both debtor and creditor representation.
  • Provide counsel on bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors' rights issues.
  • Draft, review, and analyze complex bankruptcy-related legal documents.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic advice to clients on bankruptcy matters.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest quality of service.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials related to bankruptcy proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Chapter 11 experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of bankruptcy experience.
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
  • Strong experience in debtor representation and restructuring matters, with some knowledge of creditor representation.
  • Ability to manage multiple bankruptcy cases independently, with a focus on detail.
  • Strong communication, writing, and legal research skills.
