Job Description

We’re partnering with a respected national animal nutrition manufacturer that is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have true autonomy, take ownership of the maintenance program, and help shape the future of the facility as it continues to modernize.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure all systems are running safely and efficiently

  • Lead all preventive maintenance across the facility

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as they arise

  • Develop and refine maintenance processes, procedures, and best practices

  • Support the installation and integration of new robotic and automated equipment

  • Serve as on-call support on weekends (the mill rarely operates on weekends, so calls are minimal)

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong maintenance background in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Experience with electrical systems; exposure to robotics or automation is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and manage a full maintenance program

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability

Why This Role Stands Out

  • First-shift schedule with consistent hours

  • Competitive pay plus the opportunity for overtime

  • Autonomy to run the maintenance department as your own

  • Opportunity to help build and improve systems, processes, and preventative maintenance programs

  • Join a stable, reputable company investing in modern equipment and facility upgrades

If you’re a hands-on technician who enjoys ownership, variety in your day, and the chance to work with new technologies, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
