We are partnered with a dynamic and growing civil engineering firm specializing in land development projects throughout Florida. Their team is dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions that meets their clients’ needs. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex land development projects and contribute to the continued growth of their organization.
Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will oversee land development projects from inception through completion, managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project teams. This role requires a strong technical background in civil engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage land development projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work
Coordinate and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff
Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Drive business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license in FL required
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale land development projects
Strong knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes in NE Florida
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficient with industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, etc.)
