Estimator (5–7 Years Experience) – Asphalt Contractor

Location: Jackson, MS Relocation Available

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Estimator with 5–7 years of experience in asphalt, paving, or civil construction. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable, established contractor in Jackson, MS—and we are open to relocating the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate estimates for asphalt, paving, sitework, and civil projects
• Analyze plans, specifications, and project documents
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Develop cost proposals, budgets, and takeoffs
• Assist in bid submissions and preconstruction planning
• Maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of estimating experience (asphalt/paving/civil preferred)
• Strong understanding of takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation
• Proficiency with estimating software (HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids at once
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
