Job Description

Controls Engineer 

  • PLC, HMI, and motion control programming for automated equipment
  • Design of electrical control systems, including schematics, panel layouts, and hardware architecture
  • Experience with industrial components such as sensors, VFDs, servos, and motor controls
  • Electrical troubleshooting and system debugging from build through commissioning
  • Interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings for system integration
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical standards and machine safety requirements (UL, NFPA, OSHA, ANSI/RIA)
  • Use of AutoCAD Electrical for control design documentation
  • Hands-on support for system testing, installation, and field troubleshooting
  • Collaboration with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ability to select and apply control components for automation systems
