Senior Geologist – Join Our Dynamic Forestry Team!

Are you a Licensed Professional or Certified Engineering Geologist looking for your next adventure? We’re seeking a driven individual to bring expertise and leadership to our forestry team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in sustainable forest management while working alongside a collaborative group of geologists, foresters, and forest scientists.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of professional geologists and trainees.

  • Conduct geological assessments for timberlands, including slope stability analysis and watershed reviews.

  • Oversee geologic reviews for Timber Harvesting Plans (THP) and ensure compliance with Habitat Conservation Plans.

  • Deliver impactful training sessions for forestry professionals and represent the company in both public and private forums.

  • Develop and maintain landslide inventories, assess mass wasting risks, and provide mitigation plans for soil conservation.

  • Collaborate with registered professional foresters and ensure adherence to environmental standards and regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Geomorphology, Soil Science, or Watershed Science.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with current licensure in California or ability to obtain

  • Expertise in slope stability, mass wasting geomorphology, and erosion control within forested environments.

  • Strong GIS and mapping skills with proficiency in ArcPro, GPS tools, and MS Office Suite.

  • A hands-on leader with a passion for mentorship and sustainable land management.
