Hands-On Tool Room Supervisor

An industry leader in the injection molding manufacturing industry is in need of a Hands-On Tool Room Supervisor to be responsible to supervise all tool room personnel and schedules their activities accordingly to meet productions daily tooling schedule.  Will schedule all in-house tool work and outside services that apply to tool epairs, modifications, and any dixtures or gauges needed.  Works with Project Manager on new tool design and/or any modifications or repairs as needed.

REQUIRED:

• At least 5 years experience as a toolmaker
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience
• Completed a tool and die apprenticeship
• Journeyman toolmaker
• Familiar with current AutoCad and modeling software
• Good Communications and math skills

 Responsibilities:

• Coordinates tooling efforts with management, manufacturing, and engineering and quality on maintenance and tooling issues 
• Provides leadership in the area of maintenance and tooling quality
• Provides training for all personnel on the effects of maintenance and tooling conditions
