Litigation Associate Attorney – Construction/Labor Law
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid)

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join a highly reputable law firm in New York City. This role focuses on high-exposure cases, including construction and labor law matters, with demands reaching $90 million. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in New York Labor Law, motor vehicle accident cases, and premises liability, coupled with a proactive, court-ready attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
  • Manage cases involving New York Labor Law, construction, and labor law claims.
  • Defend clients in high-stakes cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other complex legal matters.
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and development.
  • Maintain compliance with NY and, ideally, NJ bar requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York (admission in New Jersey is a plus).
  • Proven experience with construction/labor law cases.
  • Strong background defending New York Labor Law matters, motor vehicle accident cases, or premises liability.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure, high-exposure cases with professionalism and expertise.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule: Work in-office 2–3 days per week, with flexibility once established.

Compensation is commensurate with the candidate's experience.
