Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and community-oriented Agricultural Lender to join our client’s team in Lamesa, Texas. As an Ag Lender, you will play a vital role in supporting local farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses by providing tailored financial solutions that help them grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural clients and prospects within the Lamesa community.
• Analyze financial statements, credit histories, and collateral to assess risk and determine loan eligibility.
• Develop customized loan packages to meet the unique needs of agricultural customers.
• Actively participate in community events and initiatives to strengthen First United Bank’s presence and commitment to the community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage loan portfolios to ensure ongoing credit quality and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in agricultural lending or a related field.
• Strong understanding of agricultural operations, financial management, and risk assessment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for community engagement.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of local agricultural markets and practices is highly preferred.
