Labor & Employment Attorney (3+ Years Experience)

I'm currently partnering with a highly regarded, full-service law firm that is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its premier Labor & Employment practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to work alongside respected practitioners in a collaborative, sophisticated practice that handles complex employment matters for a diverse client base. What You'll Do

• Represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pre-trial preparation and trial.
• Handle all aspects of case management, including discovery, motion practice, and client communications.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues while managing matters independently.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing practical, business-focused legal counsel.

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Missouri State Bar and qualified to practice law in Missouri. Dual licensure with Kansas preferred.
• Minimum of three years of labor and employment law experience.
• Pre-trial and trial experience.
• Strong case management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong academic credentials.

Additional Information

• Location: Kansas City
• Bar Admission: Active Bar membership required
• Billable Hour Requirement: 1,800-2,000 annual billable hours
• Compensation: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, commensurate with experience.
