Industrial Construction Estimator/Project Manager


We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Estimator/Project Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in industrial construction and be ready to take on diverse and challenging projects.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis: Develop accurate project cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead for steel-related work.
  • Bid Preparation: Prepare proposals and bid packages based on client needs and project specifications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
  • Blueprint Reading: Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specs to ensure precise cost calculations.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage the planning, execution, and completion of steel and millwright projects.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Timeline Management: Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce compliance with safety standards and protocols, especially in heavy industrial environments.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with steel fabrication, equipment installation, and millwright processes.
  • Construction Expertise: Strong understanding of industrial and steel-related construction practices.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to create accurate cost estimates, monitor budgets, and control project finances.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in scheduling, coordinating resources, and managing project timelines.
  • Problem Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving on-site challenges.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with project management and estimating tools such as Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel.

Position Requirements:

  • Ideally 5-12 years of industrial construction experience.
  • Must be able to work a base of 50 hours per week.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and possess "thick skin" for managing challenges.
