Civil Crew Lead Position
The Crew Lead is the supervising member of a three to four-man crew. They will have a high proficiency level in all tasks related to tower site civil construction. They are a working member of the team and in addition to being responsible for the crew's performance and work quality, will also mentor and train those that work under them. They will also be to establish an elevated tempo in his team’s work ethic and process.
Personal Attributes:
· Must have 5 to 7 years of general construction crew lead experience.
· Must have a good driving record and able to pass any screening, testing, and checks for employment.
· Must be able to organize the days plan and direct your crew to keep everyone moving.
· Must be able to fully support the construction schedule, everything we do is weather affected, our schedules are at times driven by the forecast.
· Very proficient with the use of a compass, transit, and laser level.
· Must be able to read and comprehend construction drawings.
· Able to layout a construction site from as few as two benchmarks.
· Mechanically inclined and a natural problem solver.
· Self-motivated and able to learn new tasks quickly.
· Team oriented and ability to adapt to a constantly changing work priority.

Essential Functions
· On-site supervision of all related construction activities defined in the scope-of-work.
· Proficiency in all aspects of site layout, heavy foundation installations, anchor bolt orientation, road construction, fencing, cabinets and conduit work.
· Working familiarity with 240V 200A power service.
· Complete daily site field reports, including construction progress pictures.
· Complete daily site Job Safety Analysis as well as truck and trailer daily inspections.
· Responsible for compiling all construction process receipts, load tickets etc.
· Thorough familiarity with grounding system exothermic welding.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
· Frequent work in adverse weather conditions.
· Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders.
· On a constant basis, employee must lift, carry, and maneuver heavy or awkward objects weighing 50lbs or more
· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
· Daily travel within the Company's geographical footprint and possible extended stays at external destinations. Travel time can be anywhere from two to four weeks at a time, with appropriate breaks
· Frequently required to use hand and power tools
Job Related Certifications:
· OSHA 30
· First Aid/CPR
· Basic knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations.
