Position Overview:
As a Commercial Flooring Sales Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing every aspect of their flooring projects. From developing leads and closing sales to overseeing project execution and final delivery, you’ll ensure a seamless client experience. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in communication, organization, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, general contractors, and other stakeholders to generate and close sales opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and gather project specifications.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and bids tailored to client requirements.
- Manage all phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Source and coordinate materials, labor, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and quality standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction and project completion.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial flooring sales and/or project management.
- Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation processes, and industry trends.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management and CRM software.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
