Commercial Construction Superintendent

A respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations and deliver high-quality projects across multiple sectors. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized leader who understands what it takes to manage schedules, subcontractors, safety, and quality on busy job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all onsite construction activities from mobilization through closeout

  • Manage daily jobsite operations, subcontractor coordination, and workflow

  • Maintain project schedule, daily logs, safety meetings, and quality control

  • Lead subcontractor meetings and proactively resolve field conflicts

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager on RFIs, change events, procurement, and schedule updates

  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, inspections, and company standards

  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA/company protocols

  • Build strong relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, and vendors

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience

  • Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Foreman ready to advance

  • Ability to manage projects from $1M–$50M+

  • Experience in sectors such as industrial, healthcare, retail, office, education, municipal, or commercial TI

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination

  • Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • OSHA 30 preferred
