Litigation Attorney – Civil Litigation | California

gpac, a 30+ year recruitment firm, is partnered with a well-established law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for legal professionals looking to elevate their career in civil litigation while working on complex, high-stakes cases for larger corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and depositions

  • Conduct detailed legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments

  • Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and other legal filings

  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to build strong, strategic cases

  • Provide high-level legal advice and guidance tailored to client objectives

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules, and case law

  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and craft strategic solutions

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Proficient in legal research tools and litigation support technologies

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Active California Bar license in good standing

  • 1–5 years of experience in civil litigation

  • Demonstrated success in managing and resolving litigation matters

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $135,000 – $165,000, based on experience
