Litigation Attorney – Civil Litigation | California
gpac, a 30+ year recruitment firm, is partnered with a well-established law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. Responsibilities:
Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and depositions
Conduct detailed legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments
Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and other legal filings
Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to build strong, strategic cases
Provide high-level legal advice and guidance tailored to client objectives
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules, and case law
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and craft strategic solutions
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Proficient in legal research tools and litigation support technologies
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
1–5 years of experience in civil litigation
Demonstrated success in managing and resolving litigation matters
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $135,000 – $165,000, based on experience
