We are currently working with a manufacturer of residential glass for windows and doors in Roanoke County, VA seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of automated systems, including heat treating equipment, automatic glass cutting equipment, overhead cranes, glass assembly equipment and conveyor systems in a team environment.
They have over 200 machines to service. They need someone who can service machines and help teach so the manager doesn't have to keep running to the shop every time someone has a question or doesn't know something. PLC - Allen Bradley knowledge (legacy and newer programs), servo motors, HMI, 3 phase motors, pneumatics, electrical/mechanical knowledge - day shift M-F maybe a little overtime but not usually - 7-3 or 8-4 flexible on that or nightshift. This is an on-site position.
The wage is $75k DOE.
