A well-established law firm based in Witchita, Kansas, is dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to individuals and families in need of estate planning solutions. We specialize in assisting clients with wills, trusts, probate matters, asset protection, and other areas of estate planning law. We are looking for a talented and motivated Estate Planning Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning documents.
- Advising clients on estate planning strategies, including asset protection, tax planning, and charitable giving.
- Managing probate and trust administration matters.
- Assisting clients with guardianship, conservatorship, and business succession planning.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and staff members to ensure seamless client service.
- Staying updated on changes in Kansas estate law and best practices.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and professionalism.
- Representing clients in related legal matters, including probate court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Kansas State Bar.
- 3-5 years of experience practicing estate planning law in Kansas.
- Experience with probate, trust administration, and estate litigation is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
