Client Accounting Services Manager

A growing Advisory and Accounting Services firm is seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager to join its collaborative and client-focused team. This firm provides outsourced accounting, advisory, and financial solutions to a diverse group of businesses and is looking for a leader who can help oversee client relationships, improve processes, and support continued growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of client engagements while working alongside a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee outsourced accounting engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting processes for accuracy and completeness
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing accounting guidance and financial insights
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Identify opportunities to improve client accounting workflows and reporting processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Review work completed by accounting staff and provide mentorship and guidance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive accounting and advisory solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience managing client accounting relationships or outsourced accounting services preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members

Compensation & Benefits:

$75,000 – $95,000, based on experience
