Our company is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple estimates/construction contracts at the same time;
- Prepare design/build budget estimates and value engineering estimates;
- Solicit subcontractor bids/vendor quotations;
- Ensure projects are completed within time frame and budget;
- Create estimating spreadsheets and detailed proposals;
- Assist with determining scope through pre-construction meetings;
- Analyze job cost estimating data from reports.
Requirements:
- Must have extensive knowledge in negotiated/competitive bid submissions;
- 4+ years of estimating experience;
- Fast-pipe estimating experience;
- 4+ years of experience in Mechanical/Piping Systems
- Journeyman or Master License preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD;
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
