Are you an experienced and dedicated legal professional ready to thrive in a dynamic yet quiet small-office environment? We are seeking a Paralegal/Secretary in the Orlando area to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills as both a legal secretary and paralegal while working closely with a collaborative and supportive team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a paralegal/secretarial hybrid role, with consistent work history at prior positions (preferably 3+ years at each).
  • Multi-Attorney Work: Experience working for multiple attorneys at once (no solo practitioners).
  • Legal Expertise: Proficient in state and federal court filings, with experience in appellate work highly preferred.
  • E-Filing & Billing: Strong e-filing skills and accustomed to billing time accurately.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Experience on the plaintiff side of the insurance industry is a bonus.

Key Qualities

  • Exceptional ability to juggle responsibilities as both a paralegal and legal secretary, depending on the case.
  • Comfortable and effective in a quiet, small-office environment.
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work remotely in emergencies (e.g., sick kids, medical needs).
