Senior Cost Segregation Engineer – Remote/Nationwide

Join a well-established and highly respected firm in the cost segregation industry. We are seeking a Senior Cost Segregation Engineer to lead the review and analysis of cost segregation studies. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role while working with a dynamic and collaborative team.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Cost Segregation Engineer, you will focus on reviewing and approving cost segregation reports. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of asset classifications and guiding junior engineers to improve efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve cost segregation reports prepared by junior engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS guidelines and best practices for asset classification.
  • Analyze design documents, blueprints, and financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide technical expertise on depreciation and cost allocation strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to streamline project workflows.
  • Mentor junior engineers and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Cost Segregation experience, with a strong focus on report analysis and review.
  • Project Engineering Licensing Required.
  • Knowledge of RS Means Cost Estimator.
  • Certified Member (CCSP) of ASCSP (Preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
