Job Description

I am partnered with a full-service consulting firm with multiple locations throughout the United States.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a civil engineer in transportation design
• B.S., Civil Engineering or similar degree
• PE or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Proven ability to develop and produce construction plans and documents using Autodesk or Bentley design software(s)
• Previous experience using Autodesk Civil3D to perform roadway design tasks
• Familiarity and experience with MnDOT procedures

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Civil3D to perform roadway design tasks
• Manage and coordinate project tasks with other groups/disciplines, including the monitoring of project budgets
• Lead roadway design tasks for preliminary and final design projects
• Handle multiple deadlines and produce high-quality work under tight schedules
• Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public as necessary for project completion
• Business development activities could include assisting in the development of proposals
