Position Overview
The Estimating Manager will lead the estimating department, ensure accuracy in bids, maintain vendor/subcontractor relationships, oversee cost benchmarking and manage tender processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead estimating team of 2-4 staff, assign scopes, review take-offs
Develop cost databases and maintain historical cost metrics
Lead bid meetings, subcontractor pre-bid reviews, and ensure competitive pricing
Collaborate with project management and preconstruction teams for successful bid submissions
Qualifications
8+ years of commercial estimating experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience supervising staff and managing bid process
Proficiency with estimating software and take-off tools
