Job Title: Insurance Operations Manager

Overview: This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing key operational initiatives, processes, and procedures within a Commercial Insurance environment. As the Commercial Insurance Operations Manager, you will be integral to optimizing operations, streamlining workflows, and ensuring the seamless management of insurance portfolios and resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Become the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for multiple agency management systems, serving as the highest-level user to maximize system utilization across the company.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows, reporting structures, and quality standards that can be adopted company-wide.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's corporate insurance portfolio, ensuring comprehensive service and support for all policies.
  • Track and resolve consumer complaints, ensuring timely follow-through and resolution.
  • Oversee a team of insurance professionals

Position Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the marketing and submission process for new and renewal business, including an understanding of carrier markets and appetites, account management workflows, coverage options, and endorsements.
  • Proficient in preparing policy summaries, proposals, binders, certificates, and handling agency billing and invoicing.
  • Property/Casualty License is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of EPIC systems and their functionality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusted relationships at all levels of staff and external contacts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and accountability, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Skilled in prioritizing workloads and thriving under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
