A highly regarded Big Law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in Nashville, Knoxville, or Memphis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working on high-stakes construction disputes, collaborating with top-tier attorneys, and representing sophisticated clients in complex litigation.

Position Overview

This role focuses on construction-related litigation, including disputes involving developers, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, and design professionals. Attorneys will work on matters from case strategy through trial or resolution, often involving large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle construction litigation matters in state and federal courts

  • Represent contractors, developers, owners, and design professionals in complex disputes

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery

  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and arbitrations

  • Work closely with partners and clients on case strategy and risk analysis

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of litigation experience, with construction litigation strongly preferred

  • Experience with construction defect, delay claims, contract disputes, or project litigation

  • Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills

  • Ability to manage files and collaborate within a team-oriented environment

  • Licensed or eligible for admission in Tennessee
