Are you ready to elevate your career?

We are currently partnering with one of our top-tier legal clients—a highly respected firm known for its groundbreaking work and significant plaintiff verdicts in New York City—to secure an exceptional Medical Malpractice Attorney. This is not just a caseload management position; this is a chance to step into high-stakes litigation, drive complex cases, and work alongside some of the sharpest legal minds in the industry.

We are looking for a highly accomplished attorney with a minimum of three years of dedicated medical malpractice litigation experience in New York. If you are seeking a platform where your expertise is immediately valued and your career growth is accelerated, this is the role for you.

The Role: High-Impact Litigation

As a key member of this practice group, you will manage a diverse and challenging portfolio of catastrophic injury and complex medical negligence claims. This client offers the resources and support necessary to handle large-scale litigation successfully.

  • Own the Litigation Cycle: Strategically manage cases from pre-suit investigation through mediation, trial preparation, and final resolution.
  • Expert Discovery: Lead and execute all discovery efforts, including developing complex deposition strategies for critical medical and technical expert witnesses.
  • Strategic Case Development: Collaborate directly with senior partners to formulate innovative legal theories and trial strategies, securing favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Courtroom Presence: Represent the firm at court appearances, arbitrations, and high-value settlement conferences throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Candidate Profile: Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a high-performing litigator with a proven track record in medical malpractice.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically litigating medical malpractice claims (plaintiff or defense).
  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
  • Expertise: Deep command of NY Civil Procedure, Evidence, and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex medical records and terminology.
  • Skills: Exceptional brief writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills. This role requires an attorney who is ready to run independently with major responsibilities.

Compensation & Client Perks

Our client understands that top talent deserves top compensation. This position offers a package that is highly competitive in the New York market, designed to attract and retain the best.

  • Exceptional Base Salary: Commensurate with experience and significantly above market average for the experience level.
  • Lucrative Bonus Structure: Performance-based incentives tied to case outcomes and firm success.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: World-class health, dental, and vision plans, along with a robust 401(k) matching program.
  • Career Investment: Generous CLE and professional development stipends, supporting your continuous growth and expertise.
