The firm is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense / Civil Litigation Attorney to handle a variety of litigation matters. Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
Construction Litigation
Trucking & Transportation Defense
Insurance Coverage
Premises Liability
Products Liability
General Casualty Defense
Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct depositions and participate in mediations and hearings
Work closely with clients, insurers, and firm partners on case strategy
Participate in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in Tennessee (or ability to waive in)
Experience in insurance defense or civil litigation preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a team
