Position: Senior Estimator – Earthwork / Land Development

A well-established and growing site development contractor in the Charleston area is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. This company specializes in residential and commercial land development and earthwork projects, known for quality work, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the estimating process, from bid review to proposal submission.
Perform detailed takeoffs and estimates using AGTEK or Insite Elevation Pro.
Review civil plans and specifications to define scope, quantities, and materials.
Develop accurate budgets and competitive bids for projects ranging from $2M–$10M+.
Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing and maintain bid relationships.
Work closely with project managers, field teams, and ownership to ensure consistency between estimates, schedules, and field execution.
Prepare bid summaries, presentations, and handoffs for awarded projects.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience estimating heavy civil, land development, or sitework projects.
Proficiency with AGTEK or Insite Elevation Pro is required (testing included in the interview process).
Strong ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents.
Experience with both residential and commercial site development.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
