Project Manager – Capital EPC Projects

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale capital EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, supporting project controls, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and owners to maintain effective communication and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Assist in developing and implementing the project quality program, including inspections, documentation, and completion sign-offs.
Coordinate work between contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and the owner to maintain efficient project execution.
Support construction scheduling efforts by tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and assisting with recovery plans.
Track and process project documentation including invoices, change orders, payments, and back charges.
Prepare and maintain project communications such as transmittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) with engineering teams and ensure responses are documented and distributed.
Identify and help mitigate project risks related to safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
Maintain strong client relationships and professional communication with all project stakeholders.
Maintain reliable attendance and support project needs, including overtime when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience supporting or managing industrial or heavy construction projects, within EPC environments.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety practices.
Strong understanding of project management principles and construction workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software).
