Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with long-term care residents to help them achieve their maximum level of independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support residents’ daily living activities.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and resident progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in MN.
  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
