Commercial Real Estate Paralegal 

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions and will work alongside our real estate attorneys. This paralegal position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated real estate professional to advance their paralegal career.

Location

Hybrid position based out of Fort Lauderdale (in-office training period required, followed by flexible work arrangements)

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal specifically in commercial real estate
  • Strong knowledge of real estate documentation, title review, and due diligence
  • Experience with real estate paralegal software platforms
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases
  • Support the real estate legal team with document preparation and review
  • Prepare and review legal documents including deeds, leases, easements, and closing documents
  • Conduct title searches and resolve title issues
  • Manage due diligence process for real estate transactions
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all transaction documents
  • Coordinate with various parties including title companies, surveyors, and local authorities
  • Track critical dates and deadlines for real estate transactions
  • Assist with closings and post-closing matters
  • Serve as primary paralegal contact for real estate matters with clients and external partners

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Initial training period will be in-office
  • Transition to hybrid schedule following successful completion of training
