Defense Attorney – Medical Malpractice & Premises Liability Texas | Law Firm

A defense litigation firm is seeking an experienced attorney to handle medical malpractice and/or premises liability matters in Texas. If you are a skilled defense litigator who thrives in complex, high-stakes cases and knows how to navigate the full lifecycle of litigation, we want to talk.

What You'll Do

• Defend healthcare providers, facilities, and property owners in complex civil litigation
• Manage cases from initial assignment through trial or resolution
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses, clients, and experts
• Retain, prepare, and work closely with expert witnesses
• Evaluate cases strategically and provide clear recommendations to clients and carriers
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trial

What We're Looking For

• Licensed and in good standing in Texas — required
• Experience in medical malpractice defense, premises liability defense, or both
• Strong litigation skills with courtroom and trial experience preferred
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits
• A team player with a professional and client-focused approach
