Key Responsibilities for Geologist

  • Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I, II, and III).
  • Perform hydrogeologic evaluations and assess soil and groundwater contamination.
  • Develop and execute remediation plans for contaminated sites.
  • Carry out field investigations, including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and geological mapping.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, environmental impact statements, and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Utilize GIS software for data analysis and project management.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA.
  • Provide expert advice on geological and environmental matters to guide client decisions.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations.

What You Bring as a Geologist

  • A bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional Geologist (PG) license in California and/or Washington.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with GIS software and geological modeling tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver’s license with the flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
