Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Workers Compensation law (preferred).

  • Trial experience is highly desirable.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California.

  • Experience representing clients before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of California is a plus.

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation and counsel to clients in Workers Compensation cases.

  • Aggressively defend claims by promptly evaluating case merit.

  • Represent clients effectively to expedite file closures.

  • Handle suspected fraudulent or exaggerated cases with firm defense strategies.

  • Develop tailored defense plans, analyzing and anticipating case developments.

  • Review facts and evidence to reduce unnecessary medical costs and minimize clients' lost time.
