Job Description

Excellent opportunity offering competetive salary and bonus potential.  Looking for a Commercial Loan Officer  (C&I) with proven ability to cultivate new business. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Performs a variety of duties: outside calling, building trust, and deepening relationships with Centers of Influence.
  2.  Leverages established strong collaborative partnerships with Treasury Management, Insurance, Wealth, Equipment Finance, Retail, etc. in order to cross-sells, meet client needs and deepen relationships.
  3. Determines initial credit worthiness by understanding credit strengths and weaknesses of clients to ensure credit quality standards are met/maintained, including the oversight of past due accounts, exceptions and overall credit quality.
  4. Coordinates with the Loan Committee in the underwriting of transactions.
  5. Negotiates with clients to obtain optimal terms and conditions for a mutually beneficial relationship, oversees the proper execution of documents in accordance with bank policy and closes transactions.
  6.  Provides direct service to assigned commercial clients of the bank with respect to deposit, loan, and other miscellaneous products and services.
  7. Prepares and maintains accurate records of all client service calls made and meetings held with present and prospective clients. 
  8. rough knowledge of the features and benefits of all corporate banking products and services as well as bank operating policies and procedures.

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance related field, and/or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of Bussiness Banking experience 
  • C&I
  • Strong credit background
