CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate CNC equipment, including vertical and horizontal mills, to produce high-precision components from various materials.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes and sequences.
  • Quality Assurance: Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to inspect finished parts, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, addressing any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Operator, with a strong understanding of machining processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with various materials, including metals and plastics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
