Job Overview: We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee mechanical engineering projects in our extrusion manufacturing environment. This role coordinates production teams, designs engineering systems, and develops mechanical solutions while ensuring projects meet specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical system design from concept through implementation
• Manage vendor relations and equipment cost estimations
• Coordinate installation teams and oversee system modifications
• Develop and implement SOPs with Process Engineering team
• Oversee mechanical engineering projects and provide technical direction
• Manage engineering data and documentation
• Monitor system commissioning and handover
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience, preferably in extrusion
• 5 years mechanical systems design/installation experience
• Experience with single screw extrusion profiles
• Knowledge of flexible PVC and TPE processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Power BI
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping knowledge a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $95,000 - $110,000
• Bonus: 10% MIP Bonus
