Outside Sales Representative

 

Summary: Outside Sales Position is responsible for creating and fostering new relationships with new clients as well as existing ones. Must have experience in reading blueprints for estimating out the clients projects.

 

Job Duties: 

  • Prospect for new business and retain existing business
  • Salesman is responsible for going out and measuring, doing their own take off from blueprints, providing estimates, writing up orders for pick up or deliver, and ordering in special order products. They are responsible for staying engaged in the project as well as fielding phone calls and emails.
  • Help out at the front counter with walk in customers.
  • Any other jobs or duties appointed by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of building materials, construction processes, and industry standards.

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and sales goals.
