Legal Assistant – San Diego, CA

A premier law firm in San Diego is seeking a Legal Assistant with at least five years of civil litigation experience to join their team. Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures.
• Strong litigation background, including e-filing, preparing tables of contents and authorities, creating discovery shells, and familiarity with the litigation life cycle of a case.
• Experience with Healthcare, Insurance Litigation and Coverage, and Business Litigation is a plus.
• Excellent proofreading, writing, and attention to detail.
• Strong initiative, organizational, follow-up, and calendaring skills.
• Proficiency in typing, formatting, editing, redlining, and computer software.
• Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned.
