Sustainable Hours: A reasonable 1,800 annual billable hour requirement designed to prevent burnout.

Meaningful Work: Advise and represent public sector clients navigating labor relations and complex administrative law.
Deliver strategic advice on wage/hour compliance, leaves (FMLA/CFRA), and employee discipline.
Lead high-level workplace investigations into sensitive matters.
Defend clients against FEHA/Title VII claims and represent them in administrative hearings.
Draft and update employment agreements, handbooks, and custom workplace policies.
Bar Admission: Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
Experience: 2+ years of dedicated employment law practice.
Public Sector Expertise: Experience with the Government Code, PERB, or the Brown Act is a strong plus.
Skillset: Strong strategic counsel abilities and the autonomy to manage a varied caseload independently.
