A respected and growing law firm in Miramar, Florida is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 6+ years of litigation experience, particularly in First-Party Property and Liability matters, who enjoys handling cases from inception through resolution in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a litigation caseload involving first-party property and liability matters from pre-suit through trial
- Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and conduct depositions
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
- Develop case strategy, evaluate exposure, and advise clients on litigation and settlement options
- Prepare cases for trial, including working with experts and coordinating evidence
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong background in first-party property and/or liability defense
- Trial experience preferred
- Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
- Portable business is a plus, but not required
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
